Sales Representative (1)

We are currently seeking talented freelance sales representative to join us in our growth process. Sales experience is preferred. A college degree (or in the process of attaining one) in sales, marketing, business, communications or a related field is a plus.

Primary tasks include but not limited to:
– Interest buyers and purchasing agents in advertising their companies merchandise or services on the website
– Research prospect products and or services, company history, and advertising needs to provide proficient sales and assistance
– Contact prospective clients with the intention of offering advertising sales
– "Seal the deal" = Close

Skills & Requirements:

– Excellent people and phone skills

This is NOT a corporate desk job. The ideal candidate(s) are current freelancers looking to join a great team and continue freelancing. This is a COMMISSION only position.

We are currently seeking contributors for our magazine. Experts (or writers using expert sources) in the areas covered by the magazine may submit an article, with any pictures , to heather@happyandhealthymom.com. By submitting the materials, you are acknowledging that you are the author and submitted materials do not infringe on anyone's copyrights and you are granting us an all-inclusive license to use the material and pictures. Experts will receive free advertisement in exchange for included submissions. Experts may also request to be considered as an on-call "Ask The Expert. "

Guest Bloggers

We are currently seeking guestbloggers for our blog. Guestbloggers can choose to do one article, choose a week, or choose a regularly occuring day in the week. Experienced bloggers preferred. Happy and Healthy Mom.Com was founded in 2009 by Heather Lopez, a mother of two, and offers a unique online magazine experience for pregnant women and new moms. Though helpful; most magazines, websites, and other forms of media place the primary focus of this important time in a woman’s life on the baby. We as moms, naturally place a tremendous amount of attention on the baby developing inside of us and the baby once they are born. Happy and Healthy Mom is here to help empower women to take care of themselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually without any guilt for taking time away from their babies. It is important for women to learn that they can take better care of others if they take better care of themselves first. The magazine features articles regarding health, nutrition, fitness, and happiness of new moms and mommies to be with an easily navigatable site which breaks each topic into category and stage. It also offers: monthly polls, monthly giveaways, an ongoing blog, links to resourceful information, sites and products, photo ops, as well as an opportunity to purchase items from our marketplace with 10% of the purchase prices going to the Super Mompreneur Fund. In addition to the publication of a monthly e-zine, Happy and Healthy Mom provides ongoing social interaction with the readers via multiple social networking sites and between readers via a social network of its own.
